Leo and Environmental Clubs Join Forces
October 13, 2020
The Leo and Environmental Clubs of HMHS will be joining forces to offer garden pollinator plantings for Haddonfield Residents.
For the first 12 families that sign up we will come to your home (masks and social distancing will be in place) and prepare a section of your garden where you would like to grow native plants that will attract pollinators. We have Goldenrod, Milkweed, Boneset and other native plant species seeds that are beneficial for supporting bees, butterflies and other invertebrates.
A full species list will be available to you as well as simple directions to help ensure maximum growth next spring.Choose a nice sunny patch with healthy soil in your garden and we will do the rest!
If you would like to make a donation to our conservation partners – Pinelands Preservation Alliance, NJ Audubon and/ or Manomet Conservation, you are welcome to do so, but not required!
