Ms. Marioni is a new addition to the science department here at HMHS, teaching freshman biology in room C214.
Ms. Marioni explained that she chose to teach at Haddonfield because “It’s got a really good reputation for what they do and then what they can have students accomplish. I also really liked that they focus not just on academics, but on having the students be well-rounded in all aspects of life.” She said that she’s looking forward to seeing the fall play Clue along with the musical. When asked how she was enjoying her time at HMHS so far, she said, “Oh, I love it. I get along well with all my colleagues. Everyone’s super supportive, which is really nice . . . the students have been great for the most part, and honestly, it’s very shocking that at the end of every class kids will thank me.”
Many students have said that they love Ms. Marioni’s class and look forward to it every day. When students of Ms. Marioni were interviewed, they had nothing but positive things to say about her class.
When Lucy Cate, one of Ms. Marion’s students, was asked what she thought about her class, she responded, “I think Ms. Marioni is really nice, and she’s funny.” Lucy explained how she enjoyed the class and was excited to participate in future labs. She said that her favorite part of the class is “The discussions we have in between reviewing notes.”
Another student of Ms. Marioni’s, Jude Regina, said that his favorite part of the class is “The stuff that we’re learning about genetics.” He expressed his thoughts on her, saying, “She’s a really nice teacher and I like her class a lot.”
HMHS students and staff are very happy to welcome Ms. Marioni to the school, and we all hope she has an amazing year!
