Following Mr. Licata’s resignation, HMHS was in need of a new assistant principal. Luckily, Ms. Inez Serrano was prepared to answer the call. But, who is Ms. Serrano?
Even before coming to Haddonfield, Ms. Serrano has had extensive experience in school administration, from being the assistant principal at Timber Creek to being the mathematics and science supervisor at the Montgomery Township school district. When asked why she chose to join the HMHS community, Ms. Serrano replied, “The culture here is second to none. HMHS exemplifies excellence, academic rigor, and the development of active citizenship.” Her enthusiasm for her new position and in joining HMHS is best exemplified by her determination to provide “service to all” through her work.
Beyond her professional attributes, Ms. Serrano is a major fan of the Philadelphia Eagles (Go Birds!!!) and enjoys her share of puzzles and games. Altogether, Ms. Serrano’s eagerness to help the students in the HMHS community coupled with her diverse interests makes her a welcome and appreciated addition to the faculty.
