The Philadelphia Eagles season has been quite a rollercoaster ride so far. They’ve had their fair share of highs and lows, including horrible losses to the Seahawks and the Jets.  but they’ve shown resilience and determination throughout by beating teams like the Cowboys and Bills. They are currently sitting at a record of 10 wins and 4 losses.

One of the biggest challenges the Eagles have faced is the injury bug. Several key players, including their star quarterback Jalen Hurts, have been sidelined at various points in the season. Despite these setbacks, the team has managed to stay competitive in the NFC East division and is tied for first place with the Dallas Cowboys. 

Offensively, the Eagles have had their ups and downs. Their passing game has shown flashes of brilliance, with some impressive connections between Jalen Hurts to A.J Brown, and Devonta Smith. However, they’ve also struggled with consistency, particularly in their red zone efficiency. The running game has been a bright spot, especially with their new play the “tush push.” They stack up behind their offensive line and QB sneak it right up the middle. They have close to 100% conversion rate. The Eagles have a strong stable of running backs, including DeAndre Swift, their newest pick up from the offseason, and Kenneth Gamewell who have made significant contributions. Jalen Hurts is also a major contributor to the Eagles backfield being responsible for 14 rushing touchdowns. 

Defensively, the Eagles have been solid. They’ve showcased a fierce pass rush, consistently putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks. The defense has kept the Eagles in games and given their offense opportunities to make plays. Key players, thus through this part of the season are Rookie, Jalen Carter, Darius Slay, Hassan, Reddick, and Reed Blankenship.

In terms of coaching, the Eagles have had to make some adjustments throughout the season. The coaching staff has had to adapt to the changing roster due to injuries, and they’ve made strategic decisions to maximize the team’s chances of success. It’s clear that they’ve put in the work to put the team in the best position to win. They have recently switched defensive play callers to Matt Patricia, so hopefully the defensive play for the Eagles will continue to get better.

Overall, the Eagles’ season has been a mix of triumphs and challenges. While they’ve faced adversity, they’ve shown resilience and a never-give-up attitude. With the season still ongoing, it’ll be exciting to see how the Eagles continue to fight and compete for next season.
