Harry Styles: 15 Shows at MSG

On Wednesday, September 21, Harry Styles finished his last of 15 consecutive shows at Madison Square Garden in New York. To gain support for his new album, Harry’s House, the British singer announced Love On Tour 2022 and has been preforming at many well-known venues in addition to MSG.
Not only were fans eager to listen to Styles’ catchy and relatable songs, but many were also looking forward to each night’s outfit. In addition to his music, Styles is well-known for his frilly and unique concert clothes. Ella Goodworth, HMHS students who attended the concert at MSG on night 6 remarked, “He teaches his fans that they can dress without judgement.” When asked what the environment at the concert felt like, Goodworth included, “It was super fun and felt like a community aspect.”
All 15 of Styles’ shows were sold out. In celebration of this achievement, he received a banner raised in MSG at the end of night 15. His banner joins the two other musical acts that have received banners: Billy Joel and Phish. Harry Styles is not done yet. He will continue touring until July 22, 2023. Many fans are excited to see what else Styles has to offer in the future as he continues to strengthen his talent and gains more popularity.
