HMHS Peer Leaders – March Madness Tournament Challenge

HMHS Peer Leaders are hosting a March Madness Tournament Challenge. Sign-ups are on Monday 3/15 and Tuesday 3/16. Please consider donating $2 to join, all proceeds go to the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden. Sign-ups will be after school in the breeze-way.

High School Writers Conference

The Writers House at Rutgers University Camden is hosting a High School Writers Conference on Friday, April 16th from 12-4PM.
This is a great FREE opportunity! Students do not have to attend all sessions, which allows for even more flexibility.
Here is a link to the schedule and sessions – there is something for everyone!

Registration must be completed by April 8th, which is during our spring break.

March for Our Lives Virtual Arts Showcase
HMHS’s chapter of March for Our Lives is putting on a virtual arts showcase this March as a fundraiser for charity!
Videos should be loosely related to social justice/inspirational in nature, and should be shorter than four minutes. They can be any type of content, like music, a time-lapse of creating an art piece, a poetry reading, really anything!
Videos will be due March 19th, and the showcase is March 27th!
Participation can count for NHS hours. Contact [email protected] with questions, and fill out the form to officially sign up!

Welcome Ms. DeAngelis! 

Haddonfield Memorial High School would like to welcome Ms. Melissa DeAngelis! Ms. DeAngelis will be coming on board to replace the wonderful Ms. Scardilli, who is retiring on 12/23. Ms. DeAngelis will start on Monday, 12/21, so that there can be a successful transition for our students.

Calling all students! Are you interested in helping out your community through connecting with younger students struggling with online learning? Then come participate in Haddon’s Helping Hands! This program is designed for 9-12 graders to tutor 3-5 grade students in any subject of your choice. 3H is very flexible in which you can make your own schedule and collaborate with your student on your own terms. Please email Mr. Licata if you are interested!
